(….pause while I chase a mouse)

One of my tasks when I arrived back on site, after vacuuming out all the wall cavities, was documenting the “house guts” before they get covered up by insulation and drywall. Alice arrived on her bike to help (well, she arrived to observe the studio concrete-forming process, but as Raff so astutely observed, visitors are quickly pressed into service.)

The process involves laying two tape measures along the walls at right angles to show where all the wiring/plumbing/heating elements are located before we cover them up with insulation and drywall.

Hey, I thought you were going leave some of that bare concrete in the basement. You know, modern-like.
Alice is easily lured in by the promise of a cemen titious adventure involving rigid members…
I gotta say, Kaan, you seem to have a one-track mind. Now that you’re approved, would you like to comment on something relevant to the topic of this blog? Something like the efficacy of LED light bulbs for general use, for example?
Raff, I wouldn’t mind bare concrete, but it’s a “conditioned” space (heated/cooled) because of the furnace being in there. It looks really funky down there now. Truly a hobbit space. The floors are bare concrete.
