The Lego-Logix building blocks start at the corners
Staggered styrofoam blocks fit into the course below
This is what the blocks look like inside - plastic ties supplemented by steel rebar and custom-fitted steel grating
The styrofoam is cut to accommodate door and window frames

Hi. I’m Dave Doubek’s wife. Your D. has been letting my D. know of your house-building, and I’ve been reading up on some of your entries. Wow. We too are building. I notice my D. is saving and straightening nails!!! amazing what a lot of wastage happens with nail-guns, and we are adamant about keeping site clean after the dog got his foot cut, to the tune of $500.00 in vet bills. I volunteer at a Re-store, so get a lead on some pretty good bargains. Got 10 good outside light fixtures at 1/5 cost of retail.
Nice to hear from you, Jill. Especially nice to hear I’m not the only one with enough OCD to pick up nails on the job site.
